Short version: if you use the booking form, what you enter is sent to Dampfix as a Telegram message and as an email, and kept for as long as the job requires. The marketing company that runs this website receives a copy of enquiries so that it can see which ones came from here. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits. Nothing is sold to anyone.
The service is operated by Christopher Alan Vick, trading as THE FIXER C.A.V. (registration number 679094) and using the name Dampfix, carrying out damp surveys and damp-proofing in the Paphos district of Cyprus. The website and advertising are run on his behalf by a separate marketing company.

Apart from the Google Analytics cookies described below, the site carries no tracking. There are two ways your details reach Dampfix.
If you tap a WhatsApp button on the site, the fact of the tap, which button it was and the time are recorded so that the marketing company can see which enquiries came from this website. The content of your WhatsApp conversation is not recorded: the number goes to Dampfix directly.
The hosting provider records standard request data, including your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser user-agent string, for security and to keep the site running.
Form submissions arrive as a Telegram message and as an email, and stay in that conversation and in the mailboxes until they are deleted. Emails you send to the Dampfix address, and the copies described above, stay in those mailboxes and in the Telegram conversation until they are deleted. Requests that turn into a job, a survey, a written report or an invoice, are kept by Dampfix for as long as accounting and guarantee obligations require. Hosting logs are kept for the short period set by the hosting provider.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets Google's own cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, the pages you view and basic device information. Google acts as a processor for that data under its own terms, and the data may be handled outside Cyprus.
No advertising pixels are used, and the site sets no cookies of its own. If you would rather not be counted, you can block the domain googletagmanager.com in your browser or use its do-not-track or content-blocking settings.
Under the GDPR as it applies in Cyprus you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you do not have to give a reason. Write to info@dampfixcyprus.com from the address or number you used to make contact, and the records will be located and removed. If you are not satisfied with the response you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
The survey fee shown on the front page is refunded in full when Dampfix carries out treatment of €1,000 or more, excluding VAT. Below that amount the survey fee is not refunded. Repairs are quoted after the survey. Guarantees cover work carried out by Dampfix and are issued in writing with the completion paperwork.
